Let's set some expectations!

This must be authentic!

I feel very blessed coming from a city that is well-known for its food. Apart from family and friends, what I miss most about Chongqing is food. So I have no choice but to make good hometown meals to kill my homesickness. Fortunately, I can find every ingredient I need, which makes me appreciate more about how welcoming this country is. Yes, I have made the right decision to move over.

Thank God Jenn and Yi love spicy food, otherwise this challenge might not be happening. Spicy food is what I grew up eating and what I am proud of.

Let's see what Jenn and I are expecting.

Here goes the most popular - Mapo Tofu.

Spicy beef is one of my favourite.

Then, we would spicy it up with Spicy Treat

Is it too much? Let's calm it down with Sweet and Sour Spare Rib - one of the most popular across the nation.

I guess Hong Shao Pork is appealing too at this point.

We have to have something green.

In Chongqing, we would not have noodles without chilli oil.

And this is Tina's signature Jian Bing with pork - so yummy.

To finish, try these sweet potato rice balls.

Bon Appetit! Ready, Jenn?
